We are seeking a strategic and technical leader to serve as the Director of Marketing Automation and Analytics. This role will be responsible for owning and optimizing the marketing technology stack, automation processes, and data-driven decision-making to enhance marketing effectiveness and drive revenue impact. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in marketing automation platforms, data analysis, and operational efficiencies to support go-to-market (GTM) success.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing automation strategies aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, IT/IS, to ensure cohesive go-to-market (GTM) initiatives.
Marketing Technology Management:
Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of marketing tech stack.
Optimize lead scoring, nurturing workflows, and multi-channel automation strategies to improve conversion rates.
Implement AI-driven and predictive analytics solutions to enhance data analysis and campaign effectiveness.
Ensure seamless integration of various marketing tools to create a unified tech stack.
Process Optimization and Automation:
Establish best practices and models for marketing Operations and Analytics, ensuring clean data, automation efficiency, and workflow standardization.
Continuously improve operational processes to increase speed, efficiency, and marketing impact.
Identify opportunities to enhance campaign scalability, lead-to-revenue funnel efficiency, and customer lifecycle automation.
Implement scalable systems that reduce manual efforts and enhance operational efficiency.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize data analytics to monitor campaign performance, customer behavior, and ROI
Develop dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Knowledge and Onboarding
Develop and broadly communicate a clear onboarding plan for each new marketing employee, including structure and timelines.
Ensure the plan concludes only when the new hire is fully equipped to utilize the relevant marketing tech stack. Additionally, conduct refreshers as needed, informed by data from reports and tools in use.
Requirements: Minimum of 7 years in marketing Operations with at least 3 years in a leadership role.?
Proven experience in managing marketing automation platforms marketing tech stack.
Demonstrated success in designing and implementing scalable marketing processes.?
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Marketo and or other marketing automation tools
Strong understanding of data analytics, segmentation, and reporting.
Familiarity with APIs, and system integrations is a plus.?
Strong data analytics and reporting skills, with experience using BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics, or similar).
Hands-on experience with lead scoring, segmentation, attribution modeling, and campaign performance tracking.
Deep understanding of multi-channel marketing campaigns, pipeline acceleration, and sales-marketing alignment.
Knowledge of ABM platforms (6sense, Demandbase, or similar) and intent data strategies.
