Key Responsibilities:
Organic Demand Generation Strategy
Planned and executed a comprehensive strategy to increase organic visibility, improve search engine rankings, and enhance our positioning in LLMs and other organic channels.
Focus on driving business results, including user acquisition, lead generation, and increasing CTR from search engines and LLMs.
Establish us as a highly authoritative source of knowledge in the IT management space.
Business Results
Track key SEO performance metrics, such as revenue generated from organic activities, number of trials started, and quality of leads generated.
Ensure that SEO efforts contribute to user acquisition, sales lead generation, and reducing CAC.
Data & Reporting
Lead the SEO teams reporting framework by providing relevant context, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations to inform leadership decisions.
Investigate trends in organic traffic, aligning insights with business results and understanding the interplay between organic and paid channels.
Content Strategy
Own the organic content strategy, from planning to execution, ensuring it aligns with SEO goals and drives organic traffic and engagement.
Manage the SEO editorial calendar, taking full ownership of the topic clusters and content pillars. Ensure these are continuously aligned with SEO objectives and reflect industry trends and insights.
Oversee the creation of content briefs for in-house and freelance writers, providing strategic guidelines and best practices to ensure content is optimized for SEO and user engagement.
Act as the primary owner of content strategy, constantly iterating and refining the approach based on performance data and SEO objectives.
Website Focal Point and SEO Governance
Lead the creation of new website pages and optimize existing pages to support SEO goals and organic growth initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content creation aligns with SEO strategy, providing strategic guidelines and best practices.
Work closely with paid media teams to optimize landing pages for paid campaigns, ensuring they align with SEO best practices.
On-Page Strategy
Own and execute the on-page SEO strategy, including internal linking framework, title optimization, content structure, and user engagement tactics.
Use tools like Hotjar and GSC to regularly review and optimize content, improving performance across key metrics (bounce rate, time on page, CTR, etc.).
Lead site audits and work with Content, Design, and Web Development teams to implement improvements based on audit findings.
Requirements: 5+ years of experience in managing SEO teams, with a proven track record of driving organic growth and business results.
Ability to lead and mentor an SEO team, promoting a results-driven and innovative culture.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate SEO insights and strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and evolving trends in SEO and AI-driven search.
Experience managing SEO strategies for B2B SaaS companies or similar technology-driven industries.
Expertise in keyword research, competitive analysis, and content strategy development.
Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making and reporting.
Experience in managing cross-functional collaboration with Content, Design, Web Development, and Paid Media teams.
Knowledge of technical SEO, including site architecture, schema markup, and web performance optimization.
A can-do attitude, proactive mindset, and ability to maneuver and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
