'קwe are looking for an experienced and hands-on DevOps Team Lead to bridge the gap between individual engineering execution and strategic leadership. Reporting directly to the DevOps Director, you will guide a team of DevOps Engineers, drive technical excellence, and ensure the smooth delivery of infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD capabilities across the organization. Act as the primary point of escalation for technical challenges within the team.
Work closely with the DevOps Director to translate the DevOps roadmap into actionable team-level objectives.
Technical Execution

Collaborate with R&D, QA, and Product teams to streamline release processes and resolve deployment bottlenecks.
Process & Governance
Define and enforce DevOps best practices, coding standards, and documentation guidelines across the team.
Drive post-incident reviews and implement learnings to prevent recurrence.
Monitor infrastructure costs and propose optimization strategies to the DevOps Director.
Requirements: Experience & Background
5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years in a team lead, tech lead, or senior individual contributor role with mentorship responsibilities.
Proven track record of leading small-to-mid-size engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of container security, Vault, and infrastructure cost management.
Familiarity with Ansible, Docker, and networking/DNS fundamentals.
Leadership & Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills - able to translate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
A collaborative, people-first mindset with a focus on team success over individual contribution.
Comfort working across time zones and with distributed, international teams.
Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement and automation-first mindset.
Nice to Have
Experience with large-scale SaaS or data-intensive environments.
Familiarity with Apache Flink, ElasticSearch, Vertica, or hybrid cloud deployments.
