We are seeking an Import & Export Coordinator to manage and coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments for the company.
The role involves close collaboration with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities, ensuring timely delivery, regulatory compliance, and smooth shipping operations while preventing delays.
Job Description
Coordinate import and export shipments (courier, air, and sea freight)
Work closely with overseas suppliers to obtain shipping documentation (invoices, packing lists, etc.)
Review and prepare documentation for customs clearance in collaboration with customs brokers
Handle regulatory requirements (Customs, Ministry of Transport, standards, and other authorities)
Track shipment status and provide ongoing updates to internal stakeholders
Liaise with freight forwarding and logistics companies
Prepare customs declarations and manage the end-to-end customs clearance process
Manage special shipments, including hazardous materials and batteries
Coordinate packaging and shipping arrangements with external suppliers
Maintain shipment documentation and records within company systems.
Requirements: Proven experience in international shipping / import-export
Experience working with customs brokers
Strong knowledge of customs procedures and regulatory requirements
High level of English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Experience working with ERP systems
Experience handling hazardous or special shipments
High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a multitasking environment
Ability to work independently and manage multiple interfaces simultaneously
This role involves extensive interaction with multiple internal and external stakeholders in Israel and abroad and requires high availability and responsiveness according to shipping needs.
