We are looking for a Director, Amazon & Marketplaces to lead our global marketplace business, with full ownership of P&L, performance, and growth strategy across international markets. This role is primarily focused on scaling and optimizing Amazon across Europe and globally, while also overseeing additional marketplaces, including Rakuten. The role also includes management of the Japan marketplace activity, ensuring alignment with global strategy and supporting local team execution.
P&L Ownership & Strategy
Full ownership of global marketplaces P&L, including revenue, profitability, and cost structure Define and lead the international marketplaces performance strategy, with Amazon as the core growth engine Build and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and KPI frameworks
Amazon Leadership (Core Focus)
Own and scale Amazon Vendor Central business across Europe and international markets Lead full-funnel performance: traffic, conversion, and profitability Own Amazon Ads strategy (Sponsored Ads & DSP ), including scaling and optimization Drive content excellence (PDP, A+, Brand Store), SEO, and merchandising
Performance & Growth
Analyze business performance and translate insights into clear, actionable plans Monitor and optimize KPIs including sales, TACOS, ROAS, conversion, and margin Identify and unlock new growth opportunities across markets and categories
Additional Marketplaces (incl. Japan)
Oversee marketplace activity beyond Amazon, including Rakuten Support and guide the Japan team, ensuring alignment with global strategy Monitor performance and identify growth opportunities in additional marketplaces
Execution & Partnerships
Lead agencies ( PPC, DSP, content) with clear KPI ownership Own key commercial moments (Prime Day, Black Friday, launches) Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain on pricing, inventory, and promotions
Requirements: 5+ years of experience managing Amazon Vendor/Seller Central at scale -

Experience leading marketplaces across international markets Strong analytical and financial acumen Experience managing agencies and cross-functional stakeholders Experience working with international teams - advantage
