We are looking for a Global Travel Manager who can own the program end-to-end, from policy and systems to supplier relationships and on-the-ground support, and bring both operational rigor and strategic thinking to a function that is scaling.
This is a hands-on leadership role with real scope. You will manage platforms, a dedicated travel desk team in India, and senior stakeholder relationships across the business. You will partner closely with Finance, HR, Procurement to deliver a travel program that is efficient, compliant, and genuinely valued by the people who use it.
Responsibilities
Travel Program Management
Own and evolve ' global travel program, ensuring alignment with business needs and company policies across all regions.
Develop, implement, and maintain travel policies and procedures.
Monitor travel spend and lead cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
Balance traveler experience with compliance and budget controls.
Travel & Expense Systems
Manage online booking and expense platforms across the organization, including Navan (primary) and SAP Concur, which serve different employee populations in our global footprint.
Lead system implementations, configurations, and process enhancements.
Maintain traveler profiles and ensure platform integrity.
Supplier & Vendor Management
Manage relationships with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, car rental providers, and technology vendors.
Negotiate contracts and preferred supplier agreements; manage global hotel programs and corporate rate strategies.
Monitor supplier performance and service levels continuously.
Operational Support
Lead the Global Travel Desk and Visa Department based in India, a team of 4 specialists, ensuring high service standards and seamless support across all regions and time zones.
Provide escalation support for complex itineraries, VIP and C-suite travelers, and emergency situations.
Drive communication and training related to travel policies, systems, and best practices across the organization.
Financial & Reporting
Track travel expenses and provide regular reporting and analytics to Finance and senior leadership.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and invoice reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with VAT/GST requirements and regional regulations.
Partner with Finance on expense processes, controls, and audit readiness.
Requirements: 8+ years of experience as a Global Travel Manager in a multinational organization or similarly complex global environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Proven track record managing global travel programs at scale.
System implementations, configurations, and process enhancements experience (Navan - Advantage).
Management Experience.
Experience Developing, implementing, and maintaining travel policies and procedures.
Hands-on experience with Navan, SAP Concur
Experience supporting executive and VIP travelers, including C-suite itinerary management.
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, you are comfortable presenting to senior leadership and managing across cultures.
Fluent English, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
