Your role as part of the Controllership team means your daily responsibilities may include:
Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process, including preparation of journal entries and flux analysis
Supporting the audit process with auditors including the provision of workpapers as required for quarterly reviews and annual audit
Preparation of annual tax returns and other statutory reporting requirements
Engaging in analysis of complex accounting and tax issues with outside advisors
Performing and implementing different internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
Verifying proper implementation of companys processes and policies
Working with AP and Billing team to ensure accuracy of financial records
Leading improvements in internal financial and system processes.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will
Perform monthly closing activities including preparation and approval of journal entries, and inventory related account reconciliations.
Manage inventory and related transactions, including physical to perpetual to general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, audit explanations, and standard costs.
Analyze inventory adjustments over set thresholds and work with production control to determine root cause and corrective action.
Analyze operating costs including ad hoc studies incorporating plant staffing, capacity and utilization, Purchase Price Variance and Make/Buy analyses; as well as other cost related projects.
Manage the periodic requirements of manufacturing systems to ensure timing and accuracy of standards and gross margins and provide meaningful analysis of results.
Provide cost accounting support to cross functional areas as requested.
Direct the development and review of cost analysis reports and work with operations to formulate corrective actions.
Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior management.
Participation in the process of building the company's annual budget.
Interact with Internal Audit and the independent public accounting firm on quarterly reviews and/or annual audit including Sarbanes Oxley(SOX) matters.

We are growing our finance team to support our continued international growth. As the Revenues Controller you will oversee the billing and collection activities, will be in charge on performing financial reports,
compare between actual to expected revenues, optimizing financial processes, data validation of the revenues
within the various systems of the company and other ad hock projects required in the finance team. The
position will include interfaces with other functions within the finance department and the rest of the
organization and multi systems interfaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the finance organization's subject matter expert on revenue accounting and collaborate cross-
functionally with legal, sales, sales operations and professional services relative to contract
negotiations to guide on technical accounting, policy or process issues around revenue recognition.
Supervise and mentor the Revenue Controller, providing guidance, training, and support.
Prepare and deliver revenue reports, forecasts, and analyses for senior management, highlighting
trends and potential risks.
Ensure accurate calculation and application of sales tax across all invoices based on applicable
jurisdictions and tax regulations.
Stay up-to-date on changes to sales tax laws and regulations that impact invoicing processes.
Oversee the preparation and submission of sales tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to address sales tax discrepancies and implement
corrective actions when needed.
Support sales tax audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate revenue data.
Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
related to revenue.
Work closely with the FP&A department and sales operation department to make sure the revenues
are aligned with the companys budgets.
Monitor the billing and collection team
ASC 606 calculations for revenues and commissions
Oversee end-to-end revenue recognition processes to ensure compliance with US GAAP standards,
specifically ASC 606
Monitor revenue streams, contracts, and agreements, ensuring accurate and timely recognition in line
with accounting policies.
Develop and maintain the revenue recognition policy, implementing updates as required by changes in
business models or regulatory requirements.
