Position: Program Manager.
The Program Manager is responsible for supporting and nurturing early-stage environmental initiatives and organizations (NGOs).
This is achieved through professional mentoring, strengthening organizational infrastructure, and refining the operational model with an emphasis on creating organizational and financial sustainability.
The role includes mentoring initiatives, managing a network of expert advisors, overseeing a training program, and developing partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional guidance to environmental initiatives in developing logical frameworks, building and implementing work plans, forming partnerships, fundraising, and more.
Manage the selection process for initiatives, including coordination with professional partners and foundations.
Recruit and support expert consultants in relevant fields (environment, sustainability, monitoring and evaluation).
Prepare regular reports for the programs steering committee.Identify additional resources for funding both the initiatives and the program.Build a professional community of initiatives, including workshops, learning sessions, and forums.
Monitor the progress of initiatives, identify challenges, and provide tailored support.
Plan and deliver professional training sessions.
Develop the programs resource base in partnership with the Resource Developer of the Life & Environment organization and the organization's CEO.
Employment Terms:Hybrid position: Three days a week at the office in Tel Aviv.
Scope: Full-time (100%).

Requirements: Position Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience managing social/environmental programs or supporting early-stage initiatives, including organizational infrastructure building mandatory.
Deep familiarity with the field of environment and sustainability, including trends and regulations.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple interfaces philanthropy, government, consultants, and entrepreneurs.
Excellent writing and communication skills including report writing, presenting insights, and strategic writing.
Experience in fundraising significant advantageBachelor's degree in a relevant field (Environmental Sciences, Urban Planning, Geography, etc.).
Relevant Masters degree advantage.
Experience in producing and delivering training programs advantage.
