We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Senior UX Designer to join our Tel Aviv UX team.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in User Experience (UX/UI) and User Research (UXR), combined with strong UI and creative design skills, a deep understanding of research- and data-driven product goals, and the ability to take ownership of end-to-end UX processes.
This role requires a designer who can work in a structured and methodical way-defining problems clearly, grounding decisions in user research and data, and translating insights into clear, intuitive user flows and high-quality experiences, while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead UX and design initiatives across Walmart Israel digital products
Define and develop UXR goals, and translate research insights into intuitive, impactful user experiences
Conduct and integrate user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions
Embed data-driven decision making into the design process, using analytics, funnels, and behavioral insights
Define and design clear user flows, task flows, decision flows, and interaction frameworks
Simplify complex problems into structured, scalable, and intuitive experiences
Develop wireframes, interaction models, and high-fidelity designs in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data teams to align on research-backed goals and measurable outcomes
Define UX success metrics and support validation through testing, iteration, and experimentation (A/B testing where relevant)
Advocate for the user throughout the product lifecycle while balancing business goals and technical constraints
Communicate design decisions through clear frameworks, structured flows, and strong storytelling
Share UX research insights and best practices to strengthen team knowledge (bonus)

UX + UXR Expertise
Proven experience as a UX Designer (preferably senior) with strong hands-on UX research (UXR)
End-to-end research experience:
Qualitative: interviews, usability testing
Quantitative: surveys, analytics, behavioral data
Ability to define and own problem statements, hypotheses, and validation plans
Strong synthesis skills: translating insights into personas, JTBD, needs, motivations, and pain points
Methodology & Structured Thinking
Strong understanding and application of Human-Centered Design, Double Diamond, Design Thinking, Lean UX
Ability to move from research → insights → structure → flows → design → validation
Experience defining user journeys, task flows, decision flows, and service blueprints
Strong information architecture skills: navigation models, hierarchy, and interaction patterns
Ability to design clear, logical, and scalable UX systems, not just screens
Data-Driven Decision Making
Experience embedding data into UX decisions throughout the process
Strong understanding of funnels, drop-offs, and behavioral patterns
Ability to define and track UX success metrics (conversion, engagement, task success)
Experience working with analytics tools and data teams
Familiarity with experimentation and A/B testing
Design Craft & Creativity
Strong UX and UI design skills (interaction, layout, hierarchy, visual design)
High level of creative thinking and problem-solving
Ability to deliver polished, intuitive, and engaging experiences
Experience working with design systems and scalable components
Proficiency in Figma; Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) is a plus
Collaboration & Communication
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, Data, and Business stakeholders
Strong communication and storytelling skills, with clear UX documentation
Ability to present decisions backed by research, data, and structured rationale
