We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, independent, and responsible Senior Payroll and Bookkeeper to join our Financial Department
Job responsibilities:
Full responsibility for the payroll process (monthly salary preparation, calculation of hours, vacation, sick leave, overtime, recuperation pay, etc.)
Ongoing operational control, responsibility for journal entries and reconciliations, reviewing and improving work processes
Coordinating with tax authorities, social security, and employee benefit funds
Supporting employee onboarding and offboarding processes: forms 101, 161, severance pay release
Managing employee insurances in coordination with relevant interfaces, creating work processes and controls
Year-end closing National Insurance and Tax Authority reporting
Recording employee expense reimbursements and international travel reports
Basic bookkeeping tasks, including invoice entry, supplier reconciliations, tax invoices, VAT reports, bank and credit card reconciliations
Providing service and support to employees
Requirements: Certified Payroll Accountant
At least 5 years of experience in payroll, and at least 2 years in a combined role of payroll + bookkeeping
Bookkeeping certificate Level 2 required, Level 3 is an advantage
Good knowledge of relevant labor laws and payroll taxation
Experience and proficiency in Excel
Experience with HiBob and "Har-Gal" or other advanced payroll systems strong advantage
Experience with Priority required
Familiarity with Tripex system advantage
