We are seeking a Revenue Controller to take full ownership of the Order-to-Cash lifecycle. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role at the core of our revenue operations, connecting finance, ops, and GTM teams to ensure revenue flows are accurate, reliable, and scalable.
Youll lead operational processes around revenue tracking, commissions, and reporting, while building the automations and workflows that keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. From turning complex data into clear insights to aligning teams on execution, youll be the go-to person for driving operational precision.
You'll be serving SMBs, corporate clients, and strategic partners, while also designing and maintaining advanced reporting processes using Excel, Google Sheets, and BI tools.
Your Arena
Collaborate closely with the Billing team to ensure timely and accurate preparation, review, and submission of all client invoices.
Support revenue operations by ensuring revenue is recognized correctly in accordance with both contractual obligations and accounting standards.
Conduct deep analysis on billing and financial data to identify anomalies, inefficiencies, or recurring issues (e.g., denials, underpayments, refund trends).
Build and manage automated, intelligent dashboards and reconciliation reports (in Excel/Sheets/BI).
Own the sales commission process, including maintaining commission tracking files and ensuring accurate, timely calculations.
Translate data into actionable insights to improve billing workflows and support broader business strategy.
Maintain and improve billing policies, procedures, and documentation through an internal knowledge base.
Own the reconciliation process and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
Act as a key liaison between Billing, Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams.
Ensure billing data integrity across systems and reporting tools.
Handle ad-hoc data and reporting requests from management and clients.
Deliver high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders, with a strong focus on accuracy, clarity, and responsiveness.
Oversee VAT and Sales Tax calculations and reporting, while supporting audit and tax compliance processes.
Requirements: What It Takes:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Certified CPA - Must.
CPA from a Big 4 accounting firm, within the high-tech audit department - Must.
Experience within billing, financial operations, or reconciliation roles - Must.
Strong skills in Financial Statements preparation and Financial Reporting in accordance with US GAAP - Must.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Full professional fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Experience with Stripe, Shopify and other Billing systems preferred.
Experience in the e-commerce industry - Advantage.
Knowledge of U.S. Sales Tax compliance and regulatory requirements - Advantage.
