What the role includes:
- Full responsibility for Development, Staging, and Production databases
- Hands-on database infrastructure development and maintenance
- Security, failover, replication, optimization, and backups
- Database design, indexing, SQL, and stored procedure optimization
- Close collaboration with Development, QA, and DevOps teams
- Serve as the organizations database expert
Requirements: - 5+ years of DBA experience, including at least 3 years as a MySQL DBA
- Hands-on experience with failover, security, optimization, backups, DB design, testing, and maintenance
- SQL / stored procedures optimization
- Ability to work independently as the sole DBA in the organization
- Experience with Python or Bash
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
-Good English, both written and spoken - mandatory
Advantages:
- C ++ experience, particularly working with MySQL
