Servo Control Development Engineer (5665) About the Role: We are looking for a skilled control engineer to design and optimize servo control systems for high-performance, multidisciplinary applications. In this role, youll lead the development of advanced control solutions for servo motors, collaborate with hardware and software teams, and ensure seamless integration into Real-Time systems.
Requirements: . Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement control algorithms for servo motors and related drive systems.
Design, simulate, and optimize control loops to improve system performance.
Integrate control software and hardware into multidisciplinary platforms.
Conduct performance analyses and troubleshoot system behavior in Real-Time.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including electronics, software, and mechanical engineering. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (control systems focus is a plus).
3+ years of hands-on experience with servo motors and Real-Time control systems required.
3+ years of experience in hardware design (Board Design) required.
Proven knowledge of electric motor control theory, especially for servo drives required.
Proficiency in simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink required.
Experience in developing control algorithms a strong advantage.
Familiarity with drive electronics (e.g. motor drivers, sensors) a plus.
Experience leading technical teams a plus.
Experience with microcontrollers or DSPs a plus.
Understanding of classical and advanced control strategies (e.g. PID, adaptive, robust) a plus.
Programming skills in C, C ++, or Python a plus.
