We are looking for a talented Billing and Collection Specialist for our growing Finance team, who would take an active part in working with our customers and internal teams.
Position type: 60% part-time.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial transactions in accordance with internal finance guidelines and approval procedures.
Handle daily invoicing activities, including validation, issuance, and follow-up on outstanding payments.
Take full ownership of customer billing inquiries from initial contact through final resolution, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication.
Maintain professional and empathetic communication with customers while understanding their business priorities.
Examine sales agreements, purchase orders, and related documentation to confirm billing accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Finance, and Customer Support to address and resolve billing discrepancies.
Manage internal update requests including customer address modifications, billing profile adjustments, pricing updates, service cancellations or reactivations, and recurring charge setups.
Conduct collection efforts, support special billing arrangements, reconcile account discrepancies, and provide required financial documentation to customers when needed.
Requirements: Previous experience in billing, collections, or a related finance role- an advantage.
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline- an advantage.
Previous experience working in a SaaS company or within a high-tech industry environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to work toward performance targets.
High level of English proficiency, both spoken and written.
Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Foundational knowledge of financial analysis, revenue recognition practices, and general accounting principles.
