What you'll be doing:
Achieve robust and efficient manufacturing of assembly and test JIGs designs at subcontractors from NPI to mass production.
Ensure subcontractors are ready for the first build with established manufacturing lines and tooling.
Verify that subcontractors' mechanical designs meet our specifications.
Manage Design for Manufacturing (DFM) processes from early design until closure.
Review samples and prototypes to ensure they meet specifications.
Ensure manufacturing line readiness, including tooling, processes, fixtures, testing equipment, and automation.
Define maintenance guidelines and implement quality control for assembly and test JIGs.
Collaborate with subcontractors on a technology roadmap to meet NVIDIA requirements.
Manage engineering changes efficiently and address production issues promptly.
Drive subcontractors to achieve full independence and responsibility.
Requirements: What we need to see:
B.Cs in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Proficient in SolidWorks, with the ability to review mechanical drawings.
Experience working with mechanical suppliers and understanding their processes.
Self-directed learner, capable of mastering complex products and technologies.
Strong project management skills, able to lead tasks from initiation to completion.
Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Fluent English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience in product, assembly and test JIG design.
Familiar with all aspects of the NPI process.
