A fast-growing medical device company developing advanced surgical robotics technology is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and oversee all mechanical procurement operations. This is a strategic role within a multidisciplinary R&D and operations environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute procurement strategies to support R&D, engineering, and production needs.
Manage suppliers locally and internationally, including evaluation, selection, negotiation, and ongoing relationship management.
Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely supply of components, tools, and services.
Work closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
Lead cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and regulatory standards.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on procurement experience, preferably in medical devices, robotics, electronics, or other multidisciplinary hardware environments.
Proven experience sourcing and managing international suppliers (Europe / US / Asia) + local suppliers.
Strong technical understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes: CNC, plastic injection, machining, mechanical parts.
Excellent English - spoken and written.
High proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Priority - an advantage).
Strong negotiation skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
