We are now looking for a Courier Operations Manager to join our Operations Team in Tel Aviv.
As the Leader of this field, you will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager and youll be managing a diverse realm of professional expertise and employees in a hyper growing department and organization. Youll be acting as a key leader and focul point on behalf of the Operations Manager and the entire Operations department in various scenarios and youll be juggling between many ongoing projects and connecting with local and global stakeholders.
As a Courier Operations Manager, youll be managing Courier Experience related topics, from Courier Community mgmt, Courier Safety, Courier app experience, Courier Supply management , Courier journey, Project Management during ongoing events, overseeing delivery quality protocols and more.
Moreover, you will have tight contact with the product team, in order to improve the courier experience while using our app. You'll use data and work with KPI's to ensure on realtime response to support our business.
In our Operations team life moves fast and there is no typical day, so in order to be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated, confident, and very creative, be a proactive independent thinker and possess leadership skills.
Our operations run seven days a week in multiple cities - although this role is mainly a Sunday-Thursday job, sometimes it will require to be available on weekends too.
What youll be doing:
Optimizing and preparing our Ops department and Courier Supply to any ad-hok/ongoing events (Preparing for holidays, New product implementations , Changes of Courier app versions, Marathons, Marketing events etc;)
Managing our Couriers ongoing experience in order to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Managing strategic organizational realms of expertise together with your/other team leaders: From Courier road safety to Courier Community management
Managing and optimizing courier partners experience (managing app crashes , pushing for teaks and features, managing translations etc;)
Interacting with data focal points in order to optimize our ongoing supply
Interacting with cross-functional focal points (Support team, Venue team, PR etc;)
Rolling out Global and local changes to our Israeli courier operations
Managing Courier Operational crises
Managing Team Leads and Associates
Making sure your team is keeping up with your KPIs.
Requirements: Our humble expectations:
4+ years of background in Operations and in Team Management / Support team Management
Leadership experience and the ability to show the direction, as well as the genuine will to support your team members
Excellent communicator and a big team motivator as you will need to work with different teams locally and globally.Youre an expert when it comes to handling crowds and you are confident in expressing your social skills
You know youre way around presentations and public speaking
Versatile as you will be managing many different tasks of different origins.
