Required VP, Head of Robotaxi R&D and Operations
Description
We are building the worlds first affordable Robotaxi platform a fusion of ultra-efficient Agentic AI, cloud-defined autonomy, and mass-market scalability. We are now seeking a VP, Head of Robotaxi R&D and Operations, a leader who can orchestrate the full symphony: system design, fleet operations, technology partnerships, and large-scale deployment.
This executive will own the end-to-end development, validation, and operationalization of our Robotaxi systems. They will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, shape the system architecture, establish fleet operations across multiple geographies, and cultivate strategic partnerships needed to bring an affordable Level 4 solution to market.
This role is equal parts architect, hands-on operator, and professional manager guiding a frontier technology from invention to urban streets.

Responsibilities
1. Robotaxi System Development
System R&D, software development, and communication of the full Robotaxi stack including perception, prediction, planning, control, redundancy, functional safety, fleet intelligence, and cloudedge coordination.
Own the system architecture built on our Agentic AI, Air2Road localization, and Cloud-Defined Vehicle (CDV) principles ensuring a scalable, affordable, and globally deployable L4 platform.
Translate Level-4 autonomy goals into precise engineering requirements, development milestones, safety cases, and validation frameworks, covering both on-vehicle and cloud-driven intelligence.
Oversee cross-company and cross-domain integration, including edge compute, cloud orchestration, vehicle platform integration, remote operations, and continuous learning pipelines.
2. Fleet Operations & Deployment
Build and manage Robotaxi pilot fleets in multiple cities; define operational playbooks, KPIs, maintenance cycles, and driverless operations processes.
Establish real-time fleet monitoring and performance dashboards using digital-twin and simulation during driving capabilities.
Coordinate with local regulators, municipalities, and partners to ensure safe and compliant deployment.
Drive continuous improvement loops from real-world data back into the R&D roadmap.
3. Partnerships & Ecosystem Leadership
Lead technical and operational engagements with OEMs, mobility operators, cloud providers, Tier 1s, and city partners.
Manage integration with partner hardware (compute, sensors, connectivity) and cloud infrastructure.
Represent our Robotaxi vision in strategic, commercial, and regulatory forums.
4. Organizational Leadership
Build and mentor world-class engineering, operations, and program teams.
Create culture of technical excellence, accountability, and rapid iteration.
Collaborate closely with the CADO, CEO, and cross-functional leaders to align on roadmap, funding, and global expansion.

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Software Architect cum Requirements Manager to lead the end-to-end design and specification of the ADAS/AD software stack for our next-generation intelligent driving platform. This role involves dual responsibility: defining architectural vision across key modules (e.g., perception, localization, planning, embedded platform) and owning the end-to-end requirements lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Software Architecture Leadership
Define and evolve the high-level software architecture for the ADAS/AD stack, including sensor data ingestion, perception, localization, prediction, planning, and embedded systems.
Proven experience as an architect (functional, system, and E/E) in automotive applications
Contribution to Software functional designs with programming abilities, such as C++, Python, and ML
Partition software components across heterogeneous compute resources (CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, MCUs).
Ensure alignment with industry standards such as AUTOSAR, POSIX, ISO 26262, and cybersecurity regulations.
Requirements Engineering
Own software requirements lifecycle from elicitation to validation.
Work with stakeholders to gather, derive, trace, and decompose requirements using tools like Confluence, Codebeamer, or Polarion.
Ensure requirements are aligned with ASPICE-compliant development processes.
Technical Coordination and Leadership
Act as liaison between software, systems, hardware, and validation teams
Guide architectural trade-offs in multi-threaded, real-time, embedded systems.
Support integration and evaluation of third-party modules.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO/SAE 21434 (Cybersecurity).
Drive software architecture reviews, audits, and conduct technical DFMEA/DFA.
Support SPICE Level 2+ software quality processes.
