Key Responsibilities
Ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP and ASC 606, applying internal accounting policies and controls.
Review sales contracts and coordinate with GTM, Legal, Order Management and FP&A to ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
Perform monthly and quarterly revenue close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis and SOX controls.
Manage revenue-related balance sheet closings and reconciliation.
Support external audits and maintain strong documentation of revenue processes and controls.
Provide revenue and business performance insights and handle ad-hoc data and reporting requests from management.
Drive process improvement and automation within the revenue and accounting function, including building and maintaining automated dashboards and reconciliation reports (in Excel or BI tools).
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline and an active certified public accountant (CPA) certification - must.
4+ years of experience in accounting - with a strong preference for experience in revenue accounting.
Big 4 accounting firm experience must
Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business model.
Deep understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).
Proficiency with ERP systems (such as SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Exposure to SOX controls and audit support.
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Familiarity with automation tools and process improvements within finance.
High level of English both written and spoken must.
