Which department will you join?
The Cloud team of the Development Infrastructure (DI) department is responsible for our company's Cloud infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud. We develop mainly in Python, and some Golang. We are developing highly efficient systems for the company, running on up to 500K CPUs, processing hundreds of Petabytes of data monthly collected from all over the world. We also provide networking, security, governance, support, and guidance for all of our company's diverse uses of AWS across tens of AWS accounts, including ML Training and AWS China. 
What will your job look like?
Analyze, optimize, and implement cost optimization actions over different cloud services
Implement and manage automated tools to help identify cost trends and anomalies
Create financial and usage dashboards
Work with our technical teams to design and implement new services in the most cost-efficient way
Work with the financial teams on budget, forecast, and expenses reports
Work closely with our finance and legal departments to negotiate cost terms and contracts.

Design, configure, administer, build and support the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM) and Modern Management systems that support the desktop environment including use of Software Center and Intune.
Design and engineer the Windows Desktop Operating systems and automate upgrade processes on physical and virtual infrastructure for optimal performance and stability.

You will :
Serve as the first point of contact with employees who need technical assistance via phone, chat, email, or remote access.
Provide quick resolution and excellent customer service.
Talk employees through basic problem-solving processes.
Provide on-site and remote support and maintenance of our various technologies. This includes installing, repairing, upgrading, replacing, and maintaining hardware/software and peripheral equipment.
Provide daily operational support for end-user devices, peripherals, and other related technologies that may be used daily and require hands-on support.
Support responsibilities include performing PC / laptops (Windows and Mac / OSX) upgrades / replacements, equipment moves, hardware installations, technology configuration & deployment along with providing support for locally installed software solutions.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, responding quickly and efficiently to questions from employees.
Efficiently respond to and use a ticketing system for support tracking
Research and evaluate new products and services that help keep our IT environment current.
