Responsibilities
Support the annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Closing and Reporting

Participate in and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Perform analytical reviews of financial results, balance sheet accounts, and trial balances to identify trends, variances, and potential accounting issues.
Statutory Financial Statements and External Audit

Prepare annual statutory financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and periodic reviews.
Tax Compliance and Reporting

Prepare and support the submission of local tax returns and other tax-related filings.
Work closely with external tax advisors on direct and indirect tax matters, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other statutory requirements.
Transfer Pricing

Support the implementation and maintenance of transfer pricing policies and studies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with local and regional finance teams on accounting, tax, compliance, and reporting matters.
Support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Continuously evaluate and adjust payment risk levels and fraud rules across our billing platforms to maximize legitimate transaction approvals while minimizing chargebacks and fraudulent activity.
Champion and implement best practices for frictionless payment flows, ensuring genuine customers experience a smooth, hassle-free onboarding and purchasing journey.
Monitor day-to-day payment flows, investigate failed transactions, identify patterns of abuse, and resolve complex payment escalations in real-time.
Partner closely with the Product, RnD, and Compliance teams to design secure payment features, integrate new payment methods, and ensure alignment with global financial regulations (e.g., PSD2, SCA, KYC).
Conduct ongoing research on global payment trends, fraud vectors, and B2B SaaS industry benchmarks to keep Bright Datas payment strategies ahead of the curve.
Build and maintain dashboards to track key payment metrics (approval rates, chargeback ratios, false positives) and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
