As a Senior Manager in the FP&A team, you will be part of a small, high-profile team and play a key role in influencing the strategic direction of the business. The Senior Manager will be a trusted advisor to the VP of FP&A, leading the Opex side of the GTM organization, and driving strategic planning, forecasting, business performance analysis, and KPI tracking across Sales and Marketing.
The person in this role will succeed by combining sharp financial thinking, clear communication with executives, strong analytical skills, and the ability to turn complex data into compelling business stories.
What youll do:
Partner closely with key stakeholders across the Go-To-Market (GTM) sales organization and global FP&A- GTM team.
Lead and consolidate Opex planning process for the GTM organization - including annual budget and rolling forecasts.
Lead global Opex initiatives for the GTM organization
Analyze actual Opex results vs. plan and forecast, explain key variances drivers, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency.
Develop analytical frameworks to explain Opex performance, budget variances, and emerging trends.
Prepare and present high-quality presentations for the CRO, summarizing Opex performance, trends, and actionable recommendations.
Prepare comprehensive business performance reviews of GTM revenue and opex together with other FP&A team members
Work closely with GTM, RevOps, HR, and other Finance teams to ensure alignment and clarity on headcount, resource allocation, spend, and investment priorities.
Monitor and approve PO and PR requests, followed by monthly review of expenses and expense accruals
Provide financial modeling and analyses to support decision making.
Support the preparation of executive, Board of Directors, investor presentations, as well as quarterly earnings releases
Support global business teams with ad-hoc requests in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements: 7+ years of experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance roles, ideally supporting Sales/GTM functions in a global tech environment. Experience in public companies, fintech, or payments is a plus.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, financial modeling and forecasting skills.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive discussions with confidence, backed by data and insights.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and work effectively across all organizational levels, including the C-suite.
Ability to work effectively and independently in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
Comfortable working across time zones and in a global, matrixed environment.
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant degree, MBA strongly preferred.
