we are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect, Public Sector.
As a Solutions Architect at AWS, youll build technical relationships with customers of all sizes and operate as their trusted advisor, ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey.
Youll manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability and operational efficiency to accelerate their challenging projects.
Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features.
Key job responsibilities:
In this role, your creativity will link technology to tangible solutions, with the opportunity to define or invent cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases.
You will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences).

Key Responsibilities
What Youll Do-
Design and implement secure, scalable FWaaS architectures in at least one major public cloud:
o Amazon Web Services (AWS)
o Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
o Microsoft Azure
Build advanced cloud networking topologies (VPC/VNet design, routing, hybrid connectivity, load balancing, HA).
Work with routing protocols, especially BGP (OSPF - advantage).
Develop and automate infrastructure using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Bash, etc.).
Collaborate with CSP technical teams on integrations and reference architectures.
Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment with product strategy.
Participate in PoCs, architecture reviews, and production deployments.

A Cloud Solution Architect designs and implements tailored cloud solutions aligned with customer business objectives, serves as a trusted technical advisor, and ensures best practices in security, scalability, and performance are applied throughout the solution lifecycle to drive successful business outcomes.

Delivers solutions in line with company methodologies (e.g., product offerings such as value-based deliverables [VBDs], advice, training, technical validation), ensuring proven practices and patterns are followed to prepare complex customers for operational readiness and achievement of their business goals and targets. Leveraging knowledge of change management proven practices and/or involving the change management team, proactively helps the customer deploy for long-term organizational adoption to increase customer satisfaction and drive consumption/usage. Guides complex customers/partners towards a well-architected (e.g., secure, resilient, artificial intelligence [AI]-enabled), and cost- and performance-optimized solution to increase retention and expansion opportunities. Articulates the value of Unified and supports sellers, partnering with account teams to build consumption plans aligned with appropriate services. Provides feedback to Unified Delivery Team on VBDs to refine and further develop content.

Leverages market insights and demand signals to assist leadership in identifying relevant areas in which to drive up-skilling and/or accreditations based on demand.

What You'll Do:
Realization and implementation of the architecture on the variety of technological components and services
Implementation of automations and scripts based on Infrastructure As A Code (for example: Terraform)

As a Silicon Security Architect, you will be responsible for the "Security-First" mindset of our custom silicon. You will define the hardware security primitives that protect our infrastructure from the foundation up. You will bridge the gap between traditional architectural security (like access control and cryptography) and the physical reality of silicon (protecting against sophisticated lab-based attacks). You will define methods to protect sensitive information by silicon countermeasures. You will ensure that our accelerators are not only performant but also impenetrable to a wide range of adversaries.
Responsibilities
Define and document the security architecture and flows for systems on a chip (SoCs), covering hardware root of trust, secure boot, and cryptographic acceleration.
Lead the strategy and implementation of countermeasures against physical attacks, including side-channel analysis, fault injection, and silicon invasive attacks.
Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for SoC subsystems, balancing security with power, performance, and area constraints.
Collaborate with hardware design and verification teams to ensure security features are implemented and resilient against both logical and physical vectors.
Drive the evaluation and selection of security intellectual property (IP), and provide technical leadership during multi-functional design reviews.
