Were looking for an Automation Engineer to design, build, and scale intelligent automation frameworks that ensure quality across complex, business-critical flows. This role goes beyond writing tests - youll own automation strategy, build platforms and tools, and leverage AI and agentic workflows to validate systems at scale.
Youll be part of the Store R&D and will work closely with engineering, product, and data engineering to ensure reliability across high-impact domains such as Checkout journey, pricing, payments, localization, and other commerce flows.

Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks for frontend and backend.
Develop and maintain E2E, integration, and API tests that run efficiently in CI/CD.
Mentor engineers and set automation standards and best practices
Analyze test failures, debug complex issues, and continuously improve test reliability.
Identify gaps in test coverage and proactively suggest improvements.
Work with cutting-edge tools and contribute to our internal testing infrastructure roadmap.
Requirements: 3+ years of experience in automation development for complex systems.
Strong coding skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress.
Deep understanding of CI/CD processes and experience integrating tests into pipelines (GitHub Actions).
Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and debugging tools.
A passion for clean code, maintainable architecture, and scalable testing solutions.
Team player with strong communication skills and a quality-first mindset.
Nice to Have:
Experience with performance or security testing.
Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Background in QA methodologies and test strategy planning.
