We are seeking an experienced and strategic Associate Director, Supply Chain to join our leadership team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring end-to-end supply chain excellence across pharma and chemistry operations. The Associate Director will oversee planning, inventory control, logistics, and distribution activities, ensuring optimal product availability, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This position requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive complex supply chain initiatives in a dynamic global environment
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including forecasting, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution
* Ensure high service levels while optimizing inventory and minimizing backorders
* Drive operational product launches from R&D handover through market release
* Collaborate with global supply chain leadership across multiple regions
* Manage supply chain budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
* Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements (GDP, AEO, FDA, GMP)
* Monitor and improve supply chain KPIs (e.g., inventory, service levels, backorders)
* Lead, develop, and mentor a diverse supply chain team, fostering growth and succession planning
* Ensure robust material planning processes to support production continuity
Requirements: * Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain and production planning roles Proven experience in industrial companies- Pharmaceutical companies is an advantage.
* Proven leadership experience managing large, diverse teams
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects
* Hands-on experience with MRP systems ( SAP preferred)
* Experience with advanced systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Kinaxis)
* Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and regulatory compliance standards
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
* Results-driven mindset with strong organizational skills
* Fluent English
