you will take a key role in designing and implementing robust performance testing frameworks and scalable infrastructure. Youll identify system bottlenecks, analyze complex application behavior under various load scenarios, and proactively optimize performance and scalability across cloud-based environments, including the SAP Business Technology Platform. Youll work closely with cross-functional teamsdevelopers, architects, and product managersto embed performance best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Requirements: BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. 3+ years hands-on experience in performance/ Load Testing, benchmarking, and profiling of distributed systems. Solid experience with Load Testing tools such as k6, Gatling, or JMeter (k6 preferred). Strong proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language: JavaScript, Go, Python, or JAVA. Deep understanding of performance metrics: throughput, latency, percentiles, resource utilization, etc. Practical experience with monitoring, observability, and profiling tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, Dynatrace, or similar. Proven experience analyzing performance at multiple layers: application, network, infrastructure, container/runtime. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, TEST automation integration, and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Hands-on knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes runtime environments. Ability to derive insights from traces, logs, and profiling data, and translate them into actionable optimizations. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across the Full Stack. Ability to define KPIs, build dashboards, and communicate performance trends to developers and stakeholders. Familiarity with SSE, gRPC, WebSockets, or high-concurrency APIs is a plus. Understanding of network-level constraints, such as NAT limitations and connection scaling, is an advantage. A mindset for engineering excellence, clean testing code, and TEST repeatability. Self-motivated, curious, and driven to continuously improve system performance. Fluent English (written and verbal) and excellent communication skills.
