As a Director of Global Communications, you will:
Develop and execute a comprehensive global communications strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and maximizes impact
Lead the creation of compelling narratives, multimedia content and campaigns that capture the heart of our mission and inspire action
Cultivate and nurture relationships with media outlets, think tanks, academic institutions, influencers and stakeholders to build the companys reputation and elevate our positive image worldwide
Establish and maintain relationships with key government officials while monitoring and summarizing legislation that could impact key business lines
Represent the company publicly
Ensure consistency and integrity in our brand identity across all communication channels
Develop robust crisis communication plans and protocols to manage and navigate challenging situations effectively
Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts, analyze data insights and iterate strategies for continuous improvement
Plan and execute meetups and events
Requirements: A bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in communication leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in a global context
Extensive experience in external relations, including working with government outlets, NGOs and academic institutions
Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to craft narratives that resonate across diverse audiences and cultures
Strong media relations experience in traditional and digital media
Fluency in spoken and written English
Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media management, content management systems and analytics tools
Strong presentation skills
Willingness to travel abroad
