We are looking for a Sales and Business Development Manager to lead our expansion across the word and work closely with our VP sales. This pivotal role will focus on nurturing and leveraging relationships with Ciscos regional sales teams, particularly within the Service Provider segment-while independently driving new sales opportunities and managing the full customer lifecycle.
Role Overview:
As the Sales and Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building deep and effective partnerships with Ciscos Service Provider sales teams across the world. Your role will span identifying and qualifying opportunities, managing the sales process end-to-end, and supporting successful deployment and long-term customer satisfaction. Your understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and the telecom ecosystem will be essential in articulating Edgehawks value, securing new business, and ensuring successful implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
Drive business growth by identifying, developing, and closing new opportunities-particularly through Ciscos Service Provider sales channels.
Build strong, trust-based relationships with Cisco sales representatives and key stakeholders to promote joint success and customer alignment.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their business and technical needs and positioning Edgehawks DDoS protection solutions accordingly.
Own and manage the full sales lifecycle-from opportunity discovery to technical introduction, pricing, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Edgehawks product, engineering, and support teams to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Requirements: Education & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and/or business development roles, including leadership roles.
Experience in selling to Telecom and Service Provider customers is preferred.
Prior experience managing business development efforts in collaboration with large corporates-such as Cisco-is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
Confident in engaging both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
Willingness to travel abroad as needed.
