The Motion Control & Electronics department is looking for a Motion Control Expert to develop complex metrology systems for ultra-high precision measurements of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
These systems incorporate high-end performance motion devices whose development requires proficiency in motion control systems.
In this role, you will join our Motion Control group. You will be designing, developing, and implementing advanced motion systems for the next-generation Optical Critical Dimension metrology tools, as part of a world-class R&D division.
Responsibilities
What will you be doing:
Develop and implement unique solutions integrating advanced motion control technologies, delivering innovative and "out-of-the-box" approaches tailored with cutting-edge, high-end technology.
Develop and implement Motion Control solutions for multidisciplinary systems and sub-modules.
Use excellent engineering expertise to develop and optimize servo control systems, including algorithm design and custom solution implementation.
Analyze and optimize motion control system performance to ensure compliance with specifications and stability requirements.
Take ownership of suppliers and manufacturers to establish specifications for needed equipment and keep up on the latest developments.
Present and explain product spec. Definition and design reviews presenting the motion & electronics engineering point of view.
Conduct testing, inspection, and troubleshooting guides for designed motion control or electronics modules and subsystems.
Collaborate closely with R&D activities in terms of motion control and servo solutions assistance for lab set-ups, prototypes, and jigs.
Requirements: M.Sc. in Electrical/Mechanics or Mechatronics Engineering from a leading academic institute mandatory.
Ph.D. in Electrical/Mechanics or Mechatronics Engineering from a leading academic institute an advantage
At least 10 years of experience in Motion Control design in multidisciplinary systems
Previous experience in the semiconductor/printing/medical equipment industries an advantage
Proven leadership skills, exemplified by successfully leading multidisciplinary projects within a matrix organization, effectively coordinating internal teams and external partners.
Fluent Hebrew & English.
Expertise in leveraging control simulations, servo algorithms, and data analysis for performance optimization and root cause investigation.
Developed and implemented training sessions for team members, enhancing overall departmental proficiency in motion control and servo algorithms.
Willingness to travel abroad (once a quarter)
