As an Account Executive at you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by effectively managing the full sales cycle for both our core web data APIs and our expanding suite of cyber intelligence products. You will work with qualified leads generated by our Sales Development team (both inbound and outbound), engaging with SMB and enterprise customers to understand their unique challenges and demonstrate the strategic value of solutions in uncovering critical web intelligence and mitigating cyber risks.
What Youll be Doing:
Lead consultative sales engagements to deeply understand prospects business challenges, particularly around identifying trends in vast amounts of web data or securing their external digital assets. Articulate the compelling ROI of diverse product suite (News, Blogs, Discussions, Reviews, Cyber, Data Breach, Lunar) in addressing these pain points. This often involves following up on qualified leads provided by the SDR team and conducting thorough discovery calls.
Own and drive the full sales cycle from initial lead engagement to close, including delivering engaging and tailored product demonstrations showcasing the value of APIs or the Lunar platform, addressing technical inquiries, and skillfully navigating contract negotiations to achieve higher average contract values.
Effectively manage and advance sales pipelines for qualified inbound and outbound leads, as well as upsell opportunities within SMB and enterprise accounts, ensuring opportunities are accurately tracked and progressed within our CRM (Salesforce/Hubspot).
Maintain meticulous and accurate sales records and forecasts within Hubspot and Salesforce.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams (Inbound and Outbound Business Development, Product, Marketing, Customer Success) to ensure excellent customer experience, seamless lead handoff, and to engage with senior management to resolve any roadblocks to closing deals.
Act as a strong customer advocate, relaying valuable feedback to internal teams and ensuring client needs are met throughout the sales process.
Develop and apply a deep understanding of product capabilities and diverse use cases, including how our structured data empowers machine-driven insights and how Lunar safeguards against deep and dark web threats. Prepare and present proposals that clearly articulate the value proposition and ROI for the client. Tailor presentations and demonstrations to address specific client needs.
Consistently achieve and strive to overachieve quarterly revenue quotas, demonstrating a strong understanding of what it takes to be a consistent top performer. This also includes negotiating contract terms to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
Requirements: Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Sales Account Executive within B2B SaaS companies, with a demonstrable history of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
Demonstrated success in managing and owning the full sales cycle, from initial lead engagement to successful close, including conducting impactful product demonstrations and negotiating favorable contracts.
Proven track record of carrying and achieving revenue quotas, specifically with SMB and enterprise customers, and a clear understanding of how to build solutions that lead to larger deal sizes.
Exceptional spoken and written English communication skills are essential.
Experience with CRM (Salesforce preferred) and email automation software is a significant advantage.
