We are seeking a service-oriented, sales-focused NGS Field Application Specialist with strong expertise in Illumina technology. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our NGS product line and helping to introduce and sell a new NGS technology to academic and clinical customers. This is a customer-facing position requiring hands-on technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to drive sales in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
New Technology Introduction & Sales:
Serve as a key resource for launching our new NGS technology in both academic and clinical settings.
Demonstrate the technology's benefits and applications to prospective clients.
Identify and follow up on sales opportunities, leveraging technical expertise to guide customer purchase decisions.
Collaboration & Communication:
communicate with cross-functional teamsincluding sales, marketing, and field service engineers to ensure seamless customer experience.
Address customer inquiries and requests in a timely, service-oriented manner.
Document technical issues and follow up on resolutions, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Travel & Field Work:
Conduct on-site visits at customer locations within Israel, to provide hands-on support, training, and sales demonstrations.
Additional Duties
Perform additional tasks as needed to support the team and enhance customer engagement.
Requirements: Education & Experience:
M.Sc. or Ph.D. in molecular biology or a closely related field (required).
Proven experience with Illumina NGS platforms (required).
Previous experience working in healthcare, clinical laboratories, or oncology (preferred).
Technical & Sales Skills:
Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling sales presentations.
Proved Experience in providing support for advanced lab technologies to a wide range of clients.
Communication & Teamwork:
Excellent oral and written communication skills in Hebrew and English.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
Demonstrated service-oriented mindset, with a commitment to customer success and satisfaction.
Other Qualifications:
Willingness to travel throughout Israel.
Ideal candidate has both laboratory and field support experience, preferably as an FAS.
Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
