We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Development Engineer to join Annapurna Labs, a strategic division of Amazon.
You will join a team focused on high-performance computing (HPC), impacting millions of our services globally.
In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing embedded software that powers our cloud infrastructure.
The jobs consists of mainly software development and silicon debugging, in C/assembly, and using scripting languages/AI.
Key job responsibilities:
- Design and implement embedded software solutions for next-generation cloud computing platforms.
- Develop and optimize validation software for advanced semiconductor devices.
- Create, maintain, and debug robust testing frameworks for silicon validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex system development and integration.
- Debug and optimize software at both pre-silicon and post-silicon stages.
Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in embedded software development.
- Strong programming skills in C and/or assembly language.
- Proven experience with firmware development, device drivers, EDA tools, or embedded applications.
- Deep understanding of computer architecture and hardware-software interfaces.
- Experience with debugging tools and performance optimization techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in ARM architecture and instruction set.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash, TCL).
- Knowledge of hardware protocols (PCIe, DDR).
- Experience in Random Test Generators or other EDA tools development.
- Experience with pre/post silicon validation.
