Responsibilities:
People Leadership & Team Development:
Lead hiring processes and build a strong, high-performing team.
Provide regular feedback to team and conduct 1:1 meetings to support professional growth, especially of junior team members.
Facilitate and lead team rituals to foster collaboration, alignment, and continuous improvement.
Technical Leadership & Execution:
Demonstrate proficiency in the teams technologies and guide technical direction.
Own the delivery of high-quality solutions, reviewing code and designs, while remaining fully hands-on.
Drive sprint planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of features with high quality and low defect rates.
Identify, communicate, and escalate risks and blockers to maintain progress.
Product & Collaboration:
Understand the product and user domain, ensuring team work aligns with product goals and customer needs.
Work closely with Product Managers, designers, and QA to ensure alignment and smooth development.
Communicate updates and progress transparently to stakeholders.
Adjust team priorities and plans in response to changing circumstances and constraints.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Encourage the team to experiment and try new approaches to solving problems.
Explore and promote the use of generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance coding, documentation, and daily workflows.
Make data-informed decisions, balancing priorities, technical constraints, and business needs.
Requirements: 2+ years of experience as a Team Leader managing software development teams.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
Strong architectural and system design skills.
Experience building and maintaining scalable applications.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proactive, self-driven, and accountable personality.
Passion for AI technologies and eagerness to integrate AI-driven solutions into products.
