As the Director of Project Management, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing team of Project Managers dedicated to delivering complex Salesforce solutions for our global clients. You will oversee the strategic execution of the Professional Services portfolio, ensuring that all projects meet rigorous technical and business requirements while maintaining high profitability and client satisfaction (CSAT).
In this role, you act as the bridge between executive leadership and tactical execution, evolving our delivery methodologies and serving as a senior advisor for our most strategic client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership: Lead and develop a team of Project Managers. Drive professional growth through coaching, performance management, and the enhancement of client-facing consulting skills.
Delivery Governance: Define and standardize project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) across the Salesforce practice to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
Portfolio Oversight: Monitor the health of the entire project portfolio. Act as the primary Escalation Point for clients to resolve complex delivery challenges and scope disputes.
Commercial & Profitability Control: Partner with the PMs to manage project margins, resource utilization, and SOW compliance. Ensure "Scope Creep" is identified and captured through formal Change Requests.
Resource & Capacity Planning: Strategically allocate Project Managers to client accounts based on expertise and workload, ensuring optimal team utilization and project success.
Strategic Stakeholder Management: Foster long-term relationships with C-level stakeholders at client organizations, ensuring our Salesforce implementations align with their long-term business roadmap.
Process Innovation: Continuously improve the delivery lifecycle by implementing advanced PPM tools (Jira, Smartsheet, etc.) and automation to increase team efficiency.
Executive Reporting: Provide the leadership team with high-level visibility into portfolio performance, revenue forecasts, and potential delivery risks.
Requirements: Experience: 10+ years in Project/Program Management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Managing other Project Managers) within a Professional Services or Consulting firm.
Salesforce Expertise: Deep experience overseeing large-scale Salesforce implementations (Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds) from a delivery and business perspective.
Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of Professional Services business models, including Fixed-Price and Time & Materials (T&M) contracts.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to motivate a team of managers and influence cross-functional technical teams without direct authority.
Communication: Exceptional English (and Hebrew if applicable) communication skills; ability to present complex technical roadmaps to non-technical executive audiences.
Education: Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field. An MBA is a significant advantage.
