This role is highly hands-on and data -driven, focusing on performance validation, safety testing, and reliability of battery systems throughout development and production phases.
Location: Sderot, Israel (on-site, full-time)
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute TEST plans for battery cells, modules, and packs, including performance, lifecycle, safety, and environmental testing.
Support prototype builds and validation testing.
Operate battery TEST equipment such as cyclers, thermal chambers, power supplies, load banks, and DAQ systems.
Analyze TEST data to evaluate capacity, efficiency, degradation, thermal behavior, and failure modes.
Define TEST procedures, acceptance criteria, and reporting formats in alignment with product requirements and standards.
Support abuse, stress, and safety testing (thermal, electrical, mechanical) in controlled lab environments.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with battery testing at cell, module, or pack level.
Strong understanding of lithium-ion battery behavior, degradation mechanisms, and safety considerations.
Hands-on experience with battery TEST systems and lab equipment.
Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets using tools such as Python, MATLAB, or Excel.
Familiarity with battery management systems (BMS) and related measurements (voltage, current, temperature).
