We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Buyer to lead strategic supplier management, drive cost-effective purchasing initiatives, and support global supply chain activities. The role requires excellent negotiation abilities, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Manage and strengthen strategic supplier relationships
Lead negotiations and develop long-term supplier partnerships
Source and evaluate new suppliers to support company growth
Drive cost-reduction initiatives and value-engineering activities
Oversee and optimize import processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Engineering, Planning, and Production
Monitor open orders, resolve discrepancies, and provide status updates to suppliers and management
Analyze market trends and customer needs to support informed purchasing decisions
Implement ECO across logistics and commercial areas
Track and assess supplier performance, including material purchasing, shortages, and production planning
Conduct COGS analysis to support financial decision-making
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related field Must
Experience in global procurement and import processes Must
Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience Must
Fluent English, both verbal and written Must
Strong negotiation skills Must
Knowledge and hands-on experience in subcontractor management
