The Senior Hardware Test Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining test processes and equipment used in the manufacturing of hardware products. This role ensures that products meet quality, reliability, and performance standards through robust test strategies, automation, and continuous improvement. The engineer acts as a bridge between design engineering, manufacturing operations, and quality assurance, supporting new product introductions (NPI) through to mass production and sustaining phases.

Role and Responsibilities:
Test Development & Validation
Design, develop, and implement test plans, test fixtures and infrastructure.
Collaborate with R&D to define test requirements early in the product lifecycle.
Develop test scripts and automation software (Python, LabVIEW, C#, etc.) to improve coverage and efficiency.
Validate test coverage, yield, and reliability through statistical analysis (GR&R, Cpk, SPC).
New Product Introduction (NPI)
Support EVT, DVT, and PVT phases with test readiness and execution.
Lead test process transfer to contract manufacturers (CMs) or ODM partners.
Train CM engineers/technicians on test systems and procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.
Manufacturing Support & Continuous Improvement
Monitor production test yields, debug failures, and drive root cause analysis (RCA).
Implement corrective actions and continuous improvements to reduce test time, cost, and false failures.
Maintain and calibrate test equipment and fixtures.
Support ECO (Engineering Change Orders) by updating test plans and equipment accordingly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with hardware, firmware, and reliability engineers to improve product testability and robustness.
Partner with Quality and Operations to ensure smooth scaling into mass production.
Engage with suppliers and CM partners on test strategy alignment.

Board Design Engineer (5881) We are seeking an experienced Board Design Engineer to develop advanced electronic boards for complex systems. The role entails full ownership of the board design process, encompassing requirements and schematics, as well as testing and integration.

We are looking for a System Validation Engineer Satellite Ground Station .
The LS includes Control and data processing HW, SW as well as Phy and Radio HW and FW, to construct a full communication system supporting DVB-S2X as well as other Radio and IP communication protocols.
 Responsibilities:
Landing station system validation activity including Phy, HW and SW validation.
Study system architecture and system requirements and take part in a test plan to address these requirements in collaboration with system engineering and other teams.
Define and write automatic test plans and test procedures for new systems and features.
Build test setups for fully automated regression as well as for manual tests.
Take active part, hands-on in team execution: integration and feature/product enabling, bring up and debug activities, regression automation test of satellite systems.
Record, investigate and analyze defects.
  Investigation of root cause of test case failures and providing corrective action in conjunction with development teams.
Support Test Management tools and continuous integration methodologies.
  Data analysis and post processing of data collected.

We are seeking an experienced Board Design Engineer to join our Hardware & FPGA team. In this role you will be involved with the entire Board development process. Additionally, experience with FPGA design is an advantage. Future relocation to Austin, Texas is an option.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated outsourced ATE Engineer to join the Automatic TEST Equipment (ATE) team. This contractual role is critical in the design, development, integration, validation, and handover of a new Automated TEST Equipment (ATE) system. The contractor will work closely with MSD R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, and approved subcontractors to deliver a production-ready tester and full documentation package.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead design, integration, and bring-up of ATE systems (hardware, fixtures, instruments, and software).
* Develop and maintain TEST sequences using TestStand or equivalent and implement automation scripts ( Python, C #, etc.).
* Create and maintain BOMs, wiring diagrams, TEST procedures, validation reports, and user/maintenance documentation.
* Troubleshoot ATE systems in production; provide Tier 2 support, calibration, and yield-improvement activities.
* Execute validation and verification activities and document results for stakeholder approval.
