The senior payroll analyst plays a critical role in management and oversight for payroll processes serving as a vital link between employees and the business ensuring that employees are paid timely and accurately. This role involves in-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and the capacity to work with payroll software systems, indicating a blend of technical expertise and regulatory comprehension
This role will be part of our global payroll team providing support for up to 1,500 employees across 17 EMEA Countries as we operationally separate from Medtronic to an independent business.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Utilize the payroll vendor platform to process payroll for employees across multiple EMEA locations
Enter, review, and validate payroll inputs, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and benefits deductions
Manage and process special payroll cycles, such as bonuses, commissions, and equity awards
Ensure all payroll processing adheres to company policies and local and international statutory regulations
Review and reconcile payroll reports each pay period to ensure accuracy of employee payments, vendor remittances, and statutory filings
Partner with HR and Finance teams to streamline data flows and resolve issues related to employee data and integrations
Contribute to projects involving payroll implementations, upgrades, and integrations with other finance systems

Requirements: Experience in high-volume payroll processing, with direct hands-on experience
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
Strong communicator with analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and manipulation
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Additional desirable qualifications include proficiency with CloudPay or ADP payroll systems
