SEO Content Strategy:
Assess current goals and keyword approaches, refining strategies and tools to effectively monitor and analyze website performance using industry best practices, SEO tools, and analytics.
Identify new ways to understand user search behavior to inform keyword research and uncover content opportunities.
Collaborate with technical SEO teams to align editorial initiatives with best practices and ensure marketing and business goals are supported.
Develop a global content strategy based on keyword research and user search patterns, delivering measurable impact and setting a vision for best-in-class SEO, GEO, and AEO.
Consult on measurement frameworks and KPIs to track performance against objectives.
SEO Content Creation:
Write website content targeting specific user intents to enhance rankings and increase keyword visibility.
Build an annual content roadmap to ensure a steady stream of new content is published and optimized.
Execution and Tactics:
Develop a prioritized list of short- and long-term recommendations across content development (topics, formats), page types (e.g., blog, landing pages, CLP, PMP), linking/backlinking strategies, and other Front-End SEO levers.
Define what constitutes "quality" SEO content and build a framework to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of different content formats (e.g., blog posts, updated pages, new pages).
Partner with product and content teams to implement high-priority optimizations and content creation efforts.
Establish scalable, repeatable guidelines, standards, and workflows aligned with the overall SEO strategy to support product launches and adapt to changes in the digital and AI ecosystem.
Explore innovative and high-impact SEO opportunities beyond traditional keyword research and content updates.
Develop an approach for international SEO, including prioritization and operationalization.
Advise on testing methodologies and learning agendas to continuously improve SEO performance.
Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, particularly with high-traffic and competitive digital properties.
Demonstrated success in B2C SEO initiatives, with a strong portfolio of content projects and examples of simplifying complex topics for general audiences.
Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and SEMrush.
Proven track record in building and executing robust content strategies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to thrive in cross-functional teams.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
