We are seeking a detail-oriented NPI Engineer to lead the introduction of new hardware products from design concepts through full-scale production.
The successful candidate will serve as the bridge between R&D, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product launches while maintaining quality standards and cost targets.
Manages the entire product development and launch process from prototype to mass production, coordinating cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain. Responsible for developing production processes, optimizing workflows, resolving manufacturing issues, establishing quality standards, conducting testing and compliance, and managing supplier relationships. Additionally, it creates and maintains technical documentation and training materials, ensuring products meet customer and industry requirements.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
3-5 years of experience in product development or manufacturing engineering
Experience with new product introduction processes in hardware/electronics industry
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
Knowledge of manufacturing processes including injection molding, PCB assembly, and mechanical assembly
Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma) and statistical process control
Strong project management skills with experience in cross-functional team leadership
Experience with RF products advantage
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FCC, CE, UL, etc.) advantage
Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience advantage
Proficiency in PLM software and ERP systems advantage
PMP or similar project management certification advantage
Personal skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Occasional travel to supplier facilities and manufacturing sites (up to 25%)
