we are seeking a highly motivated Application Engineer & Technical Marketing Specialist to support customers worldwide in the integration and deployment of advanced gimbaled EO/IR payloads, combining Visible (VIS) and Long-Wave Infrared (LWIR) cameras for UAV and drone applications.
This customer-facing role combines system engineering, technical support, product marketing, and business development activities. The successful candidate will serve as the technical bridge between customers, engineering teams, and sales organizations, helping customers maximize the value of solutions while identifying new business opportunities.
This position is intended for engineers with hands-on experience in multidisciplinary systems, electro-optics, aerospace, robotics, mechanics, electronics, or field engineering.
Requirements: B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Application Engineering, Systems Engineering, Field Engineering, Technical Support, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
Experience with electro-optical systems, imaging systems, sensors, cameras, or defence -related technologies - advantage.
Strong system-level understanding and troubleshooting capabilities.
Experience working directly with customers and international partners.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to travel internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with EO/IR payloads, thermal imaging systems, or LWIR cameras.
Familiarity with UAV/UAS platforms and drone applications.
Knowledge of communication interfaces.
Experience with system integration, validation, and field testing.
Background in defence, aerospace, homeland security, or robotics applications.
Experience with Python, MATLAB, or diagnostic/debugging tools- advantage.
