As a Solutions Architect at AWS, youll build relationships with customers and operate as their trusted advisor, ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey.

Youll manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers, making recommendations on software, data, security, cost, performance, reliability and operational efficiency to accelerate their business transformation. Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to make AWS's value higher for our customers.

In this role, your creativity will link technology to tangible solutions, with the opportunity to implement cloud-native architectures for a variety of use cases. You will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g., through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences).

The AWS Startup Solutions Architecture team is dedicated to working with startup companies as they build their businesses. Were here to help them deploy scalable, secure, reliable, performant, sustainable and efficient architectures - and do that spending as little time and money as possible.

In this role, youll work directly with a variety of interesting customers in various industries which could include AI/ML, HCLS, FinTech, ClimateTech, HCLS and others, and help them make the best (and sometimes the most pragmatic) technical decisions along the way. Youll have a chance to build enduring relationships with these companies, their founders, and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.

As well as spending time working directly with customers, youll also get time to sharpen the saw and keep your skills fresh. We have more than 200 services across a range of different categories and its important that we can help startups take advantages of the right ones. You will act as a customer advocate with our product teams to make sure we are building the right products and features for the startups you work with.

In addition, this role will provide plenty of opportunities to share your knowledge more broadly by working on technical content and presenting at events.

Key job responsibilities
Help a diverse range of startups to adopt the right architecture at each part of their lifecycle.
Support startups in architecting scalable, reliable and secure solutions.
Support adoption of a broad range of AWS services to deliver business value and accelerate growth.
Support the evolution and roadmap of the AWS platform and services, connecting our engineering teams with our customers for feedback.
Establish and build technical relationships within the startup ecosystem, including accelerators, incubators and VCs.
Develop startup specific technical content, such as blog posts, sample code and solutions, to assist customers solve technical problems and reduce time-to-market.

We are looking for a Technical Solution Architect to join our Solutions team. In this role, you will work closely with customers, Sales Engineers, Product, and Engineering to deliver successful Proofs of Concept (POCs) and solve complex technical challenges.

Everyone in our company is a builder. In this role, youll contribute directly to the platform by building product features, developing proof-of-concepts for customers, and creating internal tools that improve, streamline, and accelerate the POC process.

This is a highly hands-on position for someone who enjoys diving deep into customer environments, working with data, building technical solutions, and creating value beyond the product itself. You'll play a key role in helping enterprise customers realize the full potential of our AI security platform while influencing product direction through real-world customer feedback.


What You'll Do
Lead the technical execution of customer Proofs of Concept (POCs), from initial design through successful delivery.
Partner with Sales Engineers to provide deep technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
Build tools to accelerate deployments and demonstrate customer value.
Participate in customer workshops, architecture discussions, and live debugging sessions.
Analyze raw customer data to uncover insights and validate platform capabilities.
Design creative technical solutions that address customer use cases, even beyond the platform's out-of-the-box capabilities.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues across customer environments and work closely with Engineering to resolve them.
Collaborate with Product and R&D to communicate customer feedback and influence future product capabilities.
Build technical best practices, reusable assets, and implementation playbooks to improve future deployments.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer journey.

Were looking for an experienced Principal AI Architect to join and lead the architectural direction of our products.
In this role, youll define the companys architectural vision, establish engineering standards, and drive technical decisions across multiple R&D teams. Youll work closely with Engineering, Product, DevOps, AI, Security, and Data teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while evaluating and adopting cutting-edge AI technologies.
This is a highly strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, mentoring engineering teams, and shaping the future of modern AI products.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and lead the architectural vision across the organization.
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance distributed systems.
Establish architecture standards, best practices, and technical guidelines across multiple engineering teams.
Design and lead enterprise authentication, authorization, SSO, Groups, Policies, and identity management solutions.
Architect advanced GenAI solutions, including RAG, Embeddings, Vector Databases, LLM integrations, AI Agents, Guardrails, and large-scale inference workloads.
Define reference architectures and engineering standards for deployment, monitoring, observability, reliability, and security.
Drive architectural decisions around scalability, performance, availability, security, and operational efficiency.
Own the architectural roadmap while balancing business value, operational costs (COGS), scalability, and long-term maintainability.
Lead Proofs of Concept (POCs) to evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and developer productivity tools.
Promote engineering excellence through CI/CD best practices, observability, monitoring, security, and compliance.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, AI, DevOps, Security, Data teams, customers, and strategic partners.
