We are seeking a CAE/CAD Engineer to lead simulation-driven product development, combining analysis with hands-on design. The role includes creating and optimizing CAD models and running advanced simulations (structural, thermal, multiphysics, dynamic, fatigue, nonlinear) to improve performance, cost, and reliability. You will translate simulation insights into design decisions, build and validate high-fidelity models, and correlate results with testing. The position involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and full product lifecycle ownership-from concept and prototyping (DVT/PVT) to production. Responsibilities also include applying DFM/DFA principles and producing engineering drawings and documentation for manufacturing.
Requirements: Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical.
Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or similar).
Hands-on experience with CAE tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL, HyperWorks).
Experience designing real-world components.
Understanding of tolerances, fits, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to connect simulation assumptions with practical design decisions.________________________________________
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with battery systems, enclosures, or high-power electromechanical products.
Background in nonlinear simulations (contacts, plastics, thermal coupling).
Experience with vibration, shock, and fatigue design.
Familiarity with sheet metal, castings, extrusions, and plastics design.
Experience working closely with testing teams for validation and correlation.
This position is open to all candidates.
