We are looking for a Pre-sale Engineer.
Main missions:
Lead Pre-sale engineering process for large-scale irrigation projects including pumping stations, bulk water delivery systems and irrigation systems.
Integrating all engineering disciplines such as Infield design, hydraulics, agronomy, E&M, piping, E&C, civil [roads, drains, reservoirs, canals, etc.] to allow optimal tailor-made solution to our clients.
Main areas of responsibility:
Support the division as an engineering authority and help develop opportunities
Full responsibility for the technical solution, including:
o Data collection, surveys, site visits, reports
o Hydraulics, mechanical, E&C and civil solutions
o Scope of work, workplans and technical deliverables [drawings, sections, BOQ, Technical specifications, method statement]
o Concept, general and detail Design
o Technical proposal submission
Internal Interfaces Business units, engineering department, purchasing, logistics
External interfaces Client, consultants, engineering firms
Develop technical infrastructure and documentation, including:
o R&R, SOW, BOD, Method statement
o Feasibility studies & Economical evaluations, and tenders
Requirements: BSc. Engineering, [Civil, Mechanical]
At least 3 years' experience in similar projects. (agriculture background advantage)
Proficiency with CAD and GIS environment
Motivated, self-learning, analytical, with great attention to details
Team player with good interpersonal skills
Proficient in English
