Description
our company empowers creators and businesses to create high-quality audio and video content, trusted by global companies like Spotify, TED, and NBC. Were building the leading platform that turns real conversations into powerful video, podcasts, webinars, and whatever comes next.
Were looking for a Marketing Design Team Lead who can set a high creative bar for brand and performance, and build a workflow where our designers can operate at full speed without losing quality or strategic alignment. That means taste, judgment, and the ability to build scalable systems. This is a role for someone who is hands-on and a leader, comfortable moving fluidly between brand storytelling and the rapid, data-driven reality of performance marketing.
What youll do:
Creative visual storytelling: Lead the visual storytelling for our brand and performance marketing across video, web pages, social, and every channel we show up in. Your job is to keep brand consistency while also making sure it converts, balancing emotion, clarity, and results in every asset. Setting the standard for what we show, how we show it.
Design workflows: Youll own marketing design end-to-end. Taking ideas from concept through production-ready output, while building the systems that make scale possible. Youll refine templates, libraries, and component systems so the team can ship high volume without losing cohesion or quality. Running reviews that sharpen the work and building fast, reliable feedback loops the team can trust.
Team leadership & hands-on: Lead and develop a team of experienced designers day to day, coaching, unblocking, and leveling up taste and channel literacy. Youll stay hands-on where it matters most, high-leverage marketing projects end-to-end, jumping in to art-direct or execute when speed or stakes are high, and taking on work so your team can keep momentum on their own projects. The goal is to unblock, model great thinking, and free designers to fully own their projects.
Collaboration: Partner tightly with Growth, Product Marketing and Product stakeholders to turn data into creative direction. The goal is a tight test-and-learn muscle, quick hypotheses, faster iteration, and constant improvement based on whats actually working in the world.
Requirements: Experience: 7+ years of hands-on marketing design experience, including at least 3 years leading or managing designers within a marketing design team.
Creative judgment: exceptional art direction and visual taste, with the ability to quickly assess and predict creative performance across all channels. This is paired with strong storytelling instincts across marketing formats and deep web design craft that balances clarity, conversion, and cohesive aesthetics.
Leadership + hands-on execution: A proven ability to manage, coach, and raise the bar for a team of designers, with a track record of building scalable workflows while comfortable staying hands-on when needed.
Cross-functional collaboration: Strong partner to performance marketers, PMMs, and product teams, able to translate goals and data into creative direction without losing focus or working in silos.
