we are looking for a Payments Product Manager.
As a Payments Product Manager, you'll help merchants approve more legitimate transactions, keep fraud out and protect the customer experience. You'll be part of Payment Fraud flagship product, which delivers real-time decisions across the full transaction lifecycle. Your focus will be payment conversion: how authentication, payment methods and checkout flows affect approvals and revenue.
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of risk, payments, machine learning, and merchant experience. You'll help our merchants improve their conversion rates and reduce fraud across different types of payments, including credit cards and alternative payment methods. You'll work directly with largest merchants to understand their payment and checkout processes, and with Engineering, Data Science, Analytics and GTM to turn those insights into new capabilities. You'll also find the gaps between what we offer and what new markets and merchants need, then shape and validate the solutions that close them.
What You'll Be Doing:
Define and own the roadmap for your domain, translating strategy into initiatives that improve approval rates, reduce fraud and deliver measurable merchant impact.
Optimize authentication and authorization flows, including when to apply 3DS to maximize approvals without adding customer friction.
Lead the product workstream for new markets, payment methods and expansion deals. Work with Sales and Account Management to identify the product and operational changes needed to win.
Be the go-to expert on your domain, whether that's authentication (3DS/SCA) or alternative payment methods (ACH, SEPA, BNPL, crypto), and keep stakeholders up to date on ecosystem trends and regulatory changes.
Own your product's metrics, including approval, authorization and fraud rates, and use them to guide decisions and the broader product strategy.
Build case studies and performance benchmarks that Sales uses to show the product's value in each market.
Track competitors and market trends so that long-term decisions reflect the wider landscape.
Requirements: 5+ years of product management in global payments, fintech, banking, orchestration, acquiring, wallets or similar financial products.
Experience with international markets and global payment ecosystems.
Proven experience optimizing payment flows, such as authentication (3DS), approval rates or alternative payment methods (strong advantage).
Understanding of payment fraud concepts such as fraud patterns, chargebacks and risk scoring (advantage).
Passion for the payments ecosystem and enjoyment of time spent with customers learning their complex payment flows.
A track record of leading cross-functional teams to validate and ship new capabilities.
Proven experience working hands-on with data and analytics (e.g., SQL, BI tools) to drive product decisions.
Comfort with ambiguity and a high degree of autonomy.
Excellent communication skills and experience working with global stakeholders.
BA/BS or equivalent experience.
This position is open to all candidates.
