We are seeking a R&D Senior project manager.
Basic Job Purpose:
Lead R&D team and R&D projects, by effectively managing project activities and priorities. Ensure the achievement of the planned time, budget and specifications.
Main Duties:
Manage team of ~10 engineers
Responsible for planning and allocation of resources to projects while balancing knowhow & schedule constrains.
Responsible for leading a cross-functional project team including R&D, QA, RA, Engineering, service, and other core-team members driving to successful and optimal delivery of project objectives.
Manage/Handle the IPTs on a constant basis to follow-up & align the activities between all stake-holders
Execute & follow-up the Project plan including all related activities
Identify project risks and proactively drive mitigations
Monitor and assist R&D & Other cross-functional team members to overcome technical and execution risks.
Supply all required tools, infrastructure to allow employees to do their job efficiently.
Drive design for reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, performance, cost and development time.
Drive system problem report process: prioritization, resolution & customer satisfaction feedback closure.
Transfer the product to production with the help of the Eng. Group
Drive the Customer-Centric culture within the team, and address issues that are reported from the field
Support Service with testing tools & documents.
Sub-contractors management and follow-up.
Responsible for outsourcing of specific deliverables, to assure technical proficiency and quality deliverables.
Monitor & assist R&D members with technical and execution risks to perform per pla
Requirements: Applicable technical background (Degree in engineering)
Thorough system & Devices understanding
At least 10 years experience in multi-disciplinary environment
At least 5 years experience in medical device industry
At least 5 years experience in project management
Process and Quality Oriented
Thorough multi-disciplinary system understanding
Experience in working and leading in a matrix organization environment
Experience in medium/large size established companies - advantage
Organizational : capable of working in dynamic & global environment
Strong planning and execution follow-up
Good communication & presentation skills
Experience in Technical and operational risk management
Utilize resources effectively and with balance
