Were looking for a talented product manager to drive the development of one of our key revenue driving products: Business Messages. This is a highly influential role that significantly impacts the success and roadmap of the product.
As a Product Manager for Business Messages, your primary mission is to lead the strategic planning and execution of our product portfolio to connecting people and businesses in 1:1 chats. The role and team focuses on developing tools tailored to drive revenue and adoption across key markets via direct and third-party integrations. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in product management, a deep understanding of messaging, and the value it brings from a commercial perspective and user perspective.
Responsibilities
Be a subject matter expert in the world of business messaging
Drive our Business Messaging vision by understanding the competitive landscape including WhatsApp, Apple Messages for Business, RCS RBM, and SMS in order to position us as a leader in key markets.
Define and execute a multi-quarter roadmap aligned to growth, reliability, and monetization OKRs for Business Messages together with the Product Lead.
Work with external CPaaS/aggregators and enterprise companies on integrations, co-launches, and enablement. Partner with Sales, Support, and Customer Success to scale adoption.
Oversee the entire lifecycle of the product, from ideation and concept development to launch and ongoing optimization.
Conduct market and user research to identify trends and opportunities from partners and businesses using Business Messages.
Gather and analyze feedback and requests from partners and businesses, to better inform product decisions and our long-term roadmap.
Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business message solutions within us to assess product performance to inform and improve the product.
Requirements: 5+ years of product management, consulting, co-founder, or technical experience including strong background in APIs and B2B services.
Experience in Messaging/CPaaS or adjacent OTT channels including domain expertise in: deliverability, onboarding, template/policy workflows, consent and opt-in rules.
Strong understanding of market trends, competition, and the unique challenges and opportunities for us.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies that drive business growth, specifically within the context of messaging applications
The ability to drive cross-functional leadership with Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, Support, Policy/Legal.
Experience in data analysis and utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring product performance and user engagement
Bachelors degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. A masters degree or Ph.D. in a technology or business-related field is a plus.
Experience in Agile methodologies is a plus.
