Job Type: Full Time and Hybrid work
Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), is a Flemish government agency that promotes sustainable international business in Flanders, the northern federated state of Belgium.
The website (http://www.flandersinvestmentandtrade.com) provides more information on its mission. Flanders Investment & Trade offers the job of Local Head of office FIT Israel. This is an important management role and is a Full-Time position based in the Belgian embassy in Ramat Gan with an opportunity to work independently in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Problem Analysis
- Analyze and clarify client inquiries to gather insights and provide tailored services or referrals.

Examples of activities:
- Conducting market and sector studies
- Performing diagnostics and screenings
- Identifying client needs and service gaps

2. Information & Advice
- Provide accurate information, advice, and guidance to clients.

Examples of activities:
- Advising on financial incentives and FIT services
- Responding to regional inquiries from headquarters
- Promoting economic opportunities and investment leads
- Contributing to action programs and awareness campaigns

3. Organizing Actions
- Coordinate individual and group initiatives to support Flemish
- companies and attract investments.

Examples of activities:
- Guiding companies during prospecting trips
-Preparing and evaluating FIT and third-party actions

4. Expertise & Networking
- Maintain and share expertise to enhance service quality.
- Examples of activities:
- Building networks and identifying referral partners
- Collaborating with diplomatic and economic partners
- Participating in internal meetings and study events

5.Office Management
- Ensure smooth daily operations of the office.
- Activities include:
- Coaching staff and managing performance (where applicable)
- Overseeing accounting, infrastructure, planning, and budgeting
- Coordinating with headquarters 

6. Reporting
- Collect and analyze data for official reporting and policy input.
- Activities include:
- Maintaining databases and CRM entries
Requirements:
- Masters degree (or Bachelors with 3+ years at FIT)
- In-depth knowledge of FITs mission
- Fluent in Hebrew and English
- Proficient in standard IT tools
- 4+ years of experience in an international commercial setting 

Assets
- Dutch language skills (or commitment to learn within a year)
- Familiarity with Dynamics CRM
- Strong knowledge of Flemish and international business actors

We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented VP, Research to define and execute the strategic direction for our research operations. This executive-level role demands a leader with a proven track record of establishing new operational frameworks, cultivating strategic client relationships, and driving significant cross-organizational initiatives. You'll be instrumental in shaping our long-term research capabilities and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and champion the strategic vision and long-term roadmap for research operations, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
Lead executive-level client relationships and strategic account management, serving as a primary point of contact for key clients and ensuring their satisfaction and long-term partnership.
Oversee comprehensive budget planning and resource allocation across research operations to optimize efficiency and impact.
Drive cross-organizational partnerships and business development initiatives to expand our research capabilities and market reach.
Define the organizational structure and reporting hierarchies for research operations, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
Lead executive decision-making on major operational and strategic changes, guiding the team through complex challenges and opportunities.
Represent in executive forums and industry conferences, enhancing our reputation and thought leadership within the cybersecurity landscape.
Conduct senior stakeholder management and executive communications, ensuring transparent and effective communication across all levels.

Requirements:
Extensive executive leadership experience (minimum 7+ years) in a senior operational or research management role, with a focus on defining strategy and building high-performing organizations.
Demonstrated success in establishing new departments, divisions, or significant operational units from the ground up within a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to manage and grow complex, strategic client relationships at the executive level.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budget planning, resource allocation, and optimizing operational costs.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a track record of effectively engaging C-level executives and external stakeholders.
Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, research methodologies, and operational best practices.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience in a rapidly scaling technology company or a similar growth-oriented environment.
Background in technical sales or business development at an executive level within the cybersecurity industry.
Proven experience in a role requiring significant public speaking or representation at industry events.
