The Product Marketing Director will develop and execute the product marketing strategy, plan and activities for our suite of products The Product Marketing Director will take ownership of product positioning to target customers, sales messaging development, competitive analysis, sales enablement activities and product marketing activities. The Product Marketing Director will collaborate with Product Management, Sales and Marketing teams and other functions within the organization to drive revenue and market success.
Responsibilities
* Develop and drive the marketing agenda and activities
* Collaborate with the product management team to maintain the product’s positioning and messaging and drive revenue and market success.
* Take ownership of the buyers journey and personas definition . Create sales guides and training material.
* Generate (including collaborating with others) creative, concise, strategically correct, and persuasive marketing collateral such as white papers, blog posts, articles, ebooks, website updates, etc.
* Present to customers, prospects, analysts, journalists, and other market influencers at webinars and live events.
* Develop a marketing plan in conjunction with our marketing team to drive the acquisition of new customers.
* Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support the product on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.
* Plan the launches of new product releases, and manage the cross-functional implementation of release/launch plans.
* Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal sales tools and external collateral, and teach them how and when to use it.
* Collaborate with the product management team to analyze the competitive landscape and prepare sales battlecards.
Requirements: * 5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably with a retail tech company, with at least 2 years of experience in a market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research) (Mandatory)
* Native English speaker and writer (Mandatory)
* Demonstrate strong analytical skills, as well as passion for products analysis, competitive analysis, and market dynamics
* Proven ability to write creative, concise, strategically correct, and persuasive marketing collateral such as white papers, blog posts, articles, ebooks, etc.
* Proven public speaking, presentation and verbal communication skills, has the ability to fit the content to the audience
* Exceptional ROI-tracking skills able to prove what is -or isn’t—working
* A team player with exceptional people and cross-team collaboration skills.
* A self-learner with good understanding of technology such as AI and Cloud.
* Excellent creative skills
